Title: Chemical Zoo Returns to Memphis
Date: October 14 2006

Greetings Zootopians! Chemical Zoo's Fall Tour dates that were posted on their sites have disappeared, as you may have noticed. Due to a near tragedy on Labor Day weekend involving one of the band member's children, The Zoo collectively decided to let the tour go temporarily. The kids were seriously injured and are facing surgeries and extended recovery time that would preclude them leaving town for an extended period, at least for the next month or so. The Band sincerely appreciates all the love, concern and prayers during this difficult time. They would also like to sincerely apologize to all the fans in the towns along the East Coast circuit. They still plan to see you soon. Notwithstanding all this, The Zoo is still on track and moving forward. They are gaining ground at a rapid pace on several other fronts as we speak. The band's attorney is shopping around for the right management company to represent them right now and the boys are back to business as usual in Memphis. They have been invited to play a benefit for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital sponsored by 93X. The show will be at the New Daisy Theatre on Beale October 14th. They also have a big show planned for the following weekend, October 21st, at the Stage Stop in Memphis. October 27th and 28th, they will be heading back to Atlanta for the next round of the Bodog Battle of the Bands competition. Title: IGM Benefit A Success -Thank You All!
Date: June 23 2006

The benefit show that was put on last Friday at the Stage Stop for Jonathan from the local band Industrial Ghetto Metal (IGM) was a success in spite of being slotted across from the Summer Slam concert. Jonathan was shot in a robbery attempt at his home in midtown about three and a half weeks ago. Local musicians came together and raised a total of $1360.00 at the show. Jonathan was in attendance and got up to deafening applause to make a very powerful and moving statement about the incident to all who were there. Chemical Zoo would like to express their appreciation to all those who participated in and organised the event. It was a large undertaking brought together in a short time by various individuals with a common goal - to help one of our brothers in need. We would especially like to thank the fans and friends who came down and donated. It couldn't have happened without YOU! Finally, we'd like to thank our Myspace friends as well - we had a couple of e-mails from fans offering to send checks and donate even though they couldn't be at the show. This is AWESOME people! That is the essence of charity and good will - to help those in need whether you know them or not. We have yet to recieve anything by mail but we will be forwarding any monies we get fom these people to Nita at the Stage Stop for disbursement to the appropiate person(s). If you couldn't make it to the show you can still donate. Please make checks payable to The Stage Stop and notate at the bottom - "for IGM benefit". Mailing address is: The Stage Stop 2951 Cela Lane Memphis TN 38128 You can contact us here or on Myspace. You can contact The Stage Stop thru myspace or at 901-382-1577. Jonathan is back on his feet but will be out of action for a while yet - he still needs all the help we can give him. God Bless You All! Chemical Zoo

Title: What do you think this is, a Zoo?
Date: June 20 2006

Hey everyone, how's it going? Once again, Robert is here to give you the 411 on recent events and upcoming events in the world of Zootopia. On June 10th, Chemical Zoo had a triumphant return to The Stage Stop, with help from our friends in Somervegas and Nucore. There was a helluva crowd there and the party started early and lasted all night long. Thanks to everyone who came out! Many things are going on here that I'd like to make sure you are all aware of. In August, Chemical Zoo will be heading to Atlanta to compete in the next round of the Bodog Battle Of The Bands to win a nice chunk of change. Currently, we are in the beginnings of writing some new ass-kicking, slamming tunes to play for you live! Also, this Friday night at The Stage Stop, Chemical Zoo will be playing with five other bands in a benefit show for a fellow Memphis musician, Jonathan from IGM who was shot last week by some lowlife thug. The cover charge will go to help pay hospital bills. The entry fee is only $7, and doors open at 7p.m., the show starts at 8p.m. So come see 6 great Memphis bands and rock out for a good cause! One more thing, please keep calling up the local radio stations requesting Chemical Zoo songs, we need your help to spread Zootopia worldwide! Thank you all for your continued support, you keep us going! Robert Parker

Title: Zoo Interview
Date: June 9 2006

Greetings from Zootopia! You've got Robert coming at you to tell you all about some new happenings in the Zoo. On Friday June 9th, your favorite band had an interview on the air with Dennis and Ric (and Luca) on Rock 103. I know some of our fans were able to hear it, some were not. It was nice to finally meet DnRnL after the years listening to them on the radio. They were very nice and seem to be really supportive of Chemical Zoo, I dare say they may even be fans themselves. Also, while we were in the studio, CZ did an interview for the Sunday night Locals Only radio show. Rock 103 played 4 Chemical ZOO songs that night and you also got to hear some more goofing off between Dennis and Ric and the Zoodudes. For being such great hosts to us, we recorded a commercial intro at Andy's studio that Sunday and you can now hear that on the Dennis and Ric show as well, Kevin introducing the guys and Luca while "Leave You Crying" is blasting in the background. So sit tight everyone, there will only be more great things to come soon from Chemical Zoo!

Title: CHEMICAL ZOO - SMASH SINGLE FLICKASWITCH RELEASED
Date: April 25 2006

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

zoo@chemicalzootopia.com

CHEMICAL ZOO - SMASH SINGLE FLICKASWITCH RELEASED

CHEMICAL ZOO has just released the single FLICKASWITCH, from their debut album, FLUID EXCHANGE. The technology ruling message reminds us of how enslaved we have become to what we have created. The ground breaking solo is signature to the bone crushing attitude of the groove. With the energy level set on high and the adrenalin pumping, this heavy metal tune is a cross between NIN and Megadeth; the type of song that makes you want to take on the world and kick the boss in the b@!!s on the way out.

The band delivers at all levels with precise, articulated conviction. In a world that can be frustrating and confusing at times, this powerful group vents the aggressions that we all feel within. CHEMICAL ZOO is diverse, original, and intelligent. The vision, concept, and direction they take as a band is a cut above the rest. Get in line or step aside, CHEMICAL ZOO is more than just another band, they are an icon, a harbinger of what is to come - and now you have become a part of it.

Welcome to Zootopia.

Title: Moving Forward
Date: February 15 2006

As many of you may know, the show at Rockstock was marred by a near tragedy. Kevin, the band's frontman was enroute to the venue when he was involved in a head-on collision that took the life of one individual in the other vehicle and resulted in Kevin being severely injured himself. He is recovering nicely although he has been laid up since November 19th. He suffered six broken ribs, a broken nose, a mild concussion and stress fractures in his feet and ankles. He is very thankful to be alive and has kept a very positive and upbeat attitude about the incident throughout his forced respite. He is now going to band practice and singing again and is anxious to be released by the doctors so he can get back to business. He would like to extend his heartfelt appreciation for the cards, visits, and calls and prayers from all of you during this ordeal. Thanks so much. The band has been working in a new member during this time off. They have added a guitar player. His name is Robert Parker and you will all meet him very soon. He has learned the show and the boys will be working on some new material (not on the record) to play for you at upcoming shows. They have several things planned for the coming months but haven't set anything in stone yet pending Kevin's release by his physican. Things are getting better on all fronts and the band is making plans to shoot a video. They look forward to seeing all of your smiling faces again soon. Fluid Exchange has been getting some airplay locally thanks to all of your requests for it. Keep calling! Zootopia is at hand!
